Occasional Membership is designed for those who are only able to play golf at limited times. This option can also assist you to reaching a decision on joining Carmarthen Golf Club as a full member.

About Occasional Membership

It is a "Pay and Play" Membership with FULL playing rights.

Occasional membership is open to new and experienced players. At any time during your participation in the Occasional membership Scheme, you may apply to become a full member.

The Occasional membership allows you full use of all Carmarthen Golf Club's practice facilities, also full membership rights to all social events and member's discounts.

The Occasional member will be allowed to enter all Carmarthen Golf Clubs medals and Stableford competitions, Club Knockout competitions plus other various club competitions and also will be allowed to represent the Club at home and away matches, leagues matches, subject to paying the green fees below.

  • Golfers have to pay a green fee of £6.00 per round
  • All fees must be paid before the commencement of the round.
  • Occasional membership runs for a period of 12 months
  • He or she will receive GUW affiliation and be allowed to obtain a golfing handicap.

  • Occasional members will be charged 50% of the green fee applicable.
  • Bookings will have to be arranged through the Pro and entered on BRS by him.

    Members must produce a current (ie within the membership year) dated and signed, handicap certificate

    Guests of  members will be charged at the members’ guests’ rate.

     

How much does it cost?

£225 plus a green fee of £6.00 per round.

If any person can prove financial hardship they can take up the Occasional Membership at a 10% discount (or have you seen our Academy Membership).

Footwear and equipment (including clubs, balls & tees) can be provided ( to borrow or hire) please check for availability on certain sizes.

A standard golf dress code applies at all times (no jeans) collared shirt or t-shirt, shoes must have spikes, dimpled or grip sole for health and safety reasons.

Subscriptions may be paid in full in advance or monthly via Direct Debit. (Please note the monthly option will incur an administration charge of £20). Please contact Steve Jones for further information on how to set up your direct debit. See below.
